A Company NewsletterA newsletter is a great way to generate more business for your company. It is also a good way to get your employees involved in something worthwhile. It’s a great way to strength bonds between employees too.

So how do you get people involved? Start by calling all your employees together for a meeting. Here, list some goals that you and your employees have for the newsletter. What do you want to put into the newsletter? How do you want to distribute it? The more people involved, the better. The more brains put to work, the more ideas that get thrown around. At the meeting, assign certain people to certain tasks. Designate some employees for writing while others can handle editing or design. Ask for volunteers and give people the opportunity to sign up for the task that interests them.

When should you do this? As soon as possible! You can get your employees involved in a newsletter at any time but sooner is always better than later.

Now, with your company newsletter, who is in charge? This doesn’t really matter. As long as everyone is on board, it does not really matter who runs the newsletter- as long as somebody does. Each company department can bring something new to your newsletter so figure out what everyone is good at and go from there.

Next, you have to figure out what to put in your newsletter. What do you want it to look like? What kind of message do you want to send to your clientele? Again, getting your employees on board to help you figure out what direction you want to take your newsletter can really help you here so get them involved.
